Fuck I'm terrible at organizing my tunes. Found this in the folder where I keep all my shit, under the name poool copy 3. Yep, everything gets a nonsense name until I figure out if it loves me or not. I had been on a bender with some of the other tracks on this album and this guy was pretty far down the line. I did not remember it at all and had no hopes of a hit. Well to my surprise it came out and danced and I liked what I saw. There's that in me—that deep red, heavy, grimy, sexy base. The only word I could think of while listening was Wet and I knew I meant it in a libidinous sense. I'll spare you my other imaginings. Funny what a song evokes, what the sounds, and the colors mean. I wrote the damn thing and I'm sure when that was happening it didn't feel the way it does now, in the Pittsburgh library, rooting through my drunk drawer of an imagination, trying to share my spaz so it doesn't stay cased in therapy.
